Who We Are
We are a Nonprofit organization called “BNENU TKVAT HEENU” which translates to: Our children are our life’s hope.
Founded and run and financed fully by the families of the children who were seriously injured in the Majdal Shams rocket attack. Our children survived, but their lives have changed forever.
They face physical and emotional challenges that require continuous care, rehabilitation, and support. As parents and loved ones, we have come together to ensure they receive the help they need—because no family should have to face this struggle alone.

A Tragedy That Shook Majdal Shams
On July 27, 2024, a rocket struck a soccer field in Majdal Shams, a Druze town in the Golan Heights, during an ongoing conflict. The attack claimed the lives of 12 children and teenagers and left many others injured, among them children with life-altering wounds, leaving a community in deep mourning.
While the world remembers those lost, many severely injured children now face lifelong challenges, both physically and emotionally. Their struggle must not be forgotten.

Our mission
A Future for the children
Sadly, on that tragic day, we lost 12 innocent souls. Our pain pales in comparison to the families who lost their little angels, our hearts go out to the families, and their children will forever live in our hearts and memories, may they all rest in peace. For those who survived, their lives changed forever. They survived, but at a great cost—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Their dreams and aspirations were shattered, replaced by endless hospital visits, painful treatments, and an uncertain future.
As families, we refuse to let despair take over. This nonprofit was founded by us—parents, siblings, and loved ones—who are determined to stand by our children, ensuring they receive the care, rehabilitation, and support they need to rebuild their lives.
Why did we start a nonprofit organization?
Many of our children have suffered life-altering injuries, leaving them unable to lead the normal lives they once dreamed of. While we are grateful for their survival, the road ahead is long and filled with challenges. Treatments are costly, and many parents have had to take time off work or even leave their jobs to care for their children. Not all families have the resources to provide for their children’s medical needs, education, and emotional healing.
We are here to make sure that no family faces this struggle alone.
